Sliding Into the Picture

I sat at the bottom of the castle slide taking picture after picture of the kids as they came down---many of them cute or fun---but this was one of my favorites. To me, this picture is the essence of church league softball----the small bleachers, the players with spouses and friends, the kids with their toys and snacks and the young boy with his equipment who can't wait until he's old enough to play like his dad....It's "From A Distance" week at I Heart Faces.
